The teleporting mob known as Endermen in Minecraft are no easy fight and can be quite difficult to understand. Here are some tips on how to deal with Endermen. With various nods to the Slenderman, the Enderman creates a suspenseful experience. Endermen are commonly found spawning on blocks at a light level of less than 8. In the Overworld of Minecraft, you will find Endermen spawn in Hauntings of anywhere from 1 to 4 Endermen.

How to best find Endermen? *for Ender Pearls*

First, you're going to want to make a 9x9x5 room. In the middle, two blocks off the ground, put your powered enderman spawner from EIO. You can light up the room and still have the spawner work. You're going to need some kind of device to pick up items near the middle.

I used a hopperhock from Botania, but a vacuum chest from EIO works as well. Right in front of one of the walls, you need an attraction obelisk, with an enderman soul vial in it. You can see mine to the left of the above photo.

You'll need a Killer Joe. You can see its sword in the picture above, but for frame of reference, the attraction obelisk is one block in front of the ender chest from Ender Storage.

Remember to set the obelisk to take from below, and to activate the vacuum by right-clicking it with a bucket of experience. You can get one by putting a few levels in the obelisk, then right-clicking it with a bucket.

A Killer Joe needs nutrient distillation. You need a 2x2 array of reservoir blocks for it to work, and you need to kick start it with a few buckets. Rotten flesh comes from the ender chest to the right of the Vat.

The chest is connected to a simple cursed earth mob farm, but you really don't need a whole lot of it. The Vat gets nether wart from a small farm, with the input below it. The configuration for the Vat is input to its left, right, and bottom, and an output above. Not pictured here is a lever that turns on and off the spawner and attraction obelisk with some redstone conduit underground.

You'll need a nether wart farm for the Vat. This whole next part can be skipped by putting in a garden cloche or two from Immersive Engineering, but I built this before they existed. It also requires more effort and has a slightly smaller and slower yield.

I recommend using mostly EIO conduits, but you do need the transfer pipes from Extra Utilities for this part. You need 16 dispensers and 16 soul sand arranged in this manner. The previously mentioned drawer needs a transfer node on it, and each dispenser needs a transfer filter set to "single item. At the very end of the line of dispensers, put two more three blocks up and one block back, pointing down.

They each need a water bucket, and a solid wall behind them, and from their sides to the ground. Do not put anything above the last dispensers with nether wart in them, as shown above. Make a circuit from Super Circuit Maker that looks like the one pictured. The blue thing is an ender pulsar, and the beige things are quartz resonators. The output on the right goes to the dispensers with the buckets, and the one on the bottom goes to the rest with the nether wart.

It works by first triggering the water to wash out the crop. That signal then causes that same output to pulse after a delay long enough to move all the items to the hoppers. That second signal then triggers a third, which after a delay long enough for all the water to go away, plants a new set of nether wart. The growth time for nether wart is 3 minutes 30 seconds on average.

The value in the ender pulsar should be the same as the average growth time as the nether wart, as it will trigger the dispensers to wash up your crop.

Mess around with this number a bit, and try adding your own growth accelerators. The first quartz resonator, the one that sends a pulse to the water dispensers, gets a 9 second delay.

This is also ticks. The second quartz resonator, the one that sends a pulse to the planting dispensers, gets a 3 second delay. This is also 60 ticks. If you are unfamiliar with Super Circuit maker, just hold the screwdriver and press the control button for a brief tutorial.

As mentioned above, you'll want to put some means of item collection in your farm. Have the output go to a couple of drawers, one for each unique drop. You may want a trash can if you have mods that add excessive loot drops. You will also want to lock each drawer so it cannot empty. The drawer containing the pearls should have some kind of storage upgrade, and probably a void upgrade for overflow.

You'll need to connect the pearl drawer to the pearl injector, being careful not to have the conduits touching the ones putting pearls in the drawer. You'll also want means to get power from the generators to a storage buffer, and from the buffer to the spawner, Killer Joe, attraction obelisk, and the Vat. I recommend using a capacitor bank from EIO. This is not my design for an endergenic generator, so I won't try to explain it. I might also recommend using the one Direwolf20 made.

It's cheaper and makes more power. Ignore the RFTools powercell. You may want to make a simple circuit to turn off the powergen. Flick the lever towards the torches to turn it off. The circuis replaces a simple piece of redstone. EIO capacitors are great because they can easily charge items. I used the dark steel sword from EIO, known as the "Ender. Connect the capacitor to the Killer Joe via item conduits, and give each end a chargeable item filter when in extract mode.

You can do this by right-clicking the gray box where the conduit connects to each machine. It must be done in this order. Use old embed code. Hide old embed code. Love Imgur? Join our team! No way! My simple mid-game enderman farm, with a net gain of about 10krf/t and plenty of pearls.

This is a awesome XP farm and you get XP really fast. You also get tons and I mean tons of ender pearls in the minutes I had over 3 full stack of stacks of them. I made it in the xbox edition.

Endermen are tall, dark, and thin. They emit purple particles , which are the same as those emitted from ender pearls , End portals , and Nether portals. In the Overworld , endermen typically only spawn at night in groups of 1—2, but they can spawn in the Nether at any time of the day.
